HOW CAN YOU INSTALL A BIDET?

Installing your bidet seat is quite easy and simple, since it does not require skills or prior experience. It does not require many tools. In addition to that, most manufacturers include a detailed instruction manual that they can follow. Some of them even have online tutorial videos on how to install their units. The assembly of the individual bidet is more difficult and the plumbing experience should help. If you do not know anything about plumbing, you'd better call a professional. We will explain how to install both models.
Bidet toilet seat: perfect bidet toilet seats are designed to be installed by you, not by a plumber. It is easy to do and should not take more than 20 to 30 minutes. No additional plumbing is required because the bidet hits directly into the water supply behind the toilet. Nor is a separate drain needed because all the water drains to the toilet. However, bidet seats require electricity to work, so be sure to have an outlet near the toilet seat.
The first thing you should do is remove your existing toilet seat. To do that, you need to close the seat and the lid. After that, you will notice that there are two mounting caps behind the seat. These mounting caps cover the screws and mounting holes. There are multiple bolt versions in the market. Some of them require a flathead screwdriver to remove them, while others can be removed only with your fingers. After removing the bolts, lift the entire seat. You can see the mounting holes just behind the bowl.

The next step is to mount the bidet seat. After mounting it and screwing it into place, you must connect it to the water supply. If you look behind the toilet, you will see a hose at the bottom of the water tank. You will also notice a valve. The valve must be turned so that the water supply disconnects. After that, unscrew the supply hose connected to the valve. Connect the seat hose to the valve and reconnect the supply hose to the remaining connection. Check all connections and make sure they are tight. Turn the valve so that the water supply is switched on again. Make sure there are no leaks. If there is none, your work is done. Simply plug the power cord into the power outlet so you have warm water and start using the bidet seat.
Individual bidet: the individual bidet is more difficult to install because it will also need new connections to the water supply and a new drain. If you do not have experience in plumbing, call a professional. If you have experience, you can probably manage the installation in less than 30 minutes.
